Uludere District, which dates back to BC, is a district that bears the traces of many different cultures and civilizations, but is not the subject of research. Uludere District, which was transformed into a district in 1957 and connected to Şırnak Province in 1990, has many religious and cultural features. Geographically, it has a mountainous and rugged structure and is located in a geography open to highland tourism and winter tourism. Uludere District, which has its own unique cuisine, is also at the forefront of local clothing. The most commonly used local clothes are shawl-smash fabric woven especially for men, and Kiras, Kurtek and Fistan for women. In addition to its local food and clothes, Uludere's handicrafts such as rugs, carpets, patterned woolen socks and freight transportation are appreciated in many parts of the country. Therefore, Uludere District, which has hosted many civilizations with its history, culture and belief, needs to undergo a comprehensive research.

With this symposium, in Uludere district, “History, Art, Archeology, Religion, Literature, Tribe, Tourism, Trade, Ethnic Elements of "Buildings, Social and Cultural Life" will be discussed and the cultural traces of human history that have come to life in Uludere from history to the present will be tried to be determined. In this context, we invite valuable researchers to participate in the symposium, to process the existing ore and to reveal the unknown.
